I have added my OpenAI and Anthropic Keys in the settings.
I didn’t do any apps. Just building some CSV tables. However, when I use the AI Chat to further improve data (e.g. search linkedin company url online and add it as a new column), it takes credits.
Is that normal? I was under the impression that AI chat will use the BYOK instead of credits?

You may want to double-check that your own model is both configured and actively selected. Adding API keys alone doesn’t automatically switch usage to BYOK — the model used in AI Chat needs to be explicitly set to your OpenAI or Anthropic model.

Also, in your case — searching for LinkedIn company URLs and adding them as a new column — this relies on Teable’s built-in Web scrape capability and will consume credits, as external models like OpenAI or Anthropic do not provide this capability.
If you’re unsure, you can review your current usage under Settings → Billing to confirm whether credits are being consumed.
