Before there was OpenAI gpt-5.3-Codex available in chat window. That was very useful and credit friendly.Now it is not there please let us provide option to select model of our own choice. you are providing GPT 5.5 flagship model that is not required for my task. please do not restrict access as this will make the product unuseful/less useful.

Also worth noting: based on my own testing, the credit consumption between GPT-5.3-Codex and GPT-5.5 is actually quite comparable.
